When Hosanna Revival launched the first Cincinnati Bible in 2019, it quickly became a favorite and sold out more quickly than expected! While many people loved the simplicity of the design, they received many requests for a white edition. This spring, we’re happy to announce this beautiful refresh of Cincinnati in white! The back of this Bible says, “I am the vine. You are the branches.”

Note: The beautiful, white cover is stunning, but keep in mind that it will show dirt more quickly than some of our other designs. We highly recommend keeping it in a case when you’re not using it. You can find hand-made leather cases here.

The ESV Journaling Bible® provides the perfect way for you to keep a journal of your spiritual life right inside the Bible that you read and study every day. This Bible features 2-inch ruled margins for writing observations, reflections, prayers, praises, and journal entries. • THE TEXT OF THE NEW TESTAMENT: ITS TRANSMISSION, CORRUPTION, RESTORATION

Original price was: $84.99.Current price is: $67.99.

This thoroughly revised edition of Bruce M. Metzger’s classic work is the most up-to-date manual available for the textual criticism of the New Testament. The Text of the New Testament, Fourth Edition, has been invigorated by the addition of Bart D. Ehrman–author of numerous best-selling books on the New Testament–as a coauthor. This revision brings the discussion of such important matters as the early Greek manuscripts and methods of textual criticism up to date, integrating recent research findings and approaches into the body of the text (as opposed to previous revisions, which compiled new material and notes into appendices). The authors also examine new areas of interest, including the use of computers in the collection and evaluation of manuscript evidence and the effects that social and ideological influences had upon the work of scribes. The standard text for courses in biblical studies and the history of Christianity since its first publication in 1964, The Text of the
New Testament is poised to become a definitive resource for a whole new generation of students.

  • ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY

Original price was: $86.00.Current price is: $51.60.

After twenty years of research, Dr. J. Barton Payne has compiled the one complete guide to Biblical prophecy. From the prediction of Adam’s death in Genesis 2: 17 to the prophecy of mankind’s perpetual worship of God in the new heaven and earth (Psalm 72:5), the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY discusses every verse of prophetic matter in Scripture. It identifies every probable point of fulfillment whether in the past, present, or still in the future. The first 144 pages of the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY set forth a systematic approach to the subject of Biblical prophecy and the legitimate place for prediction in it. The ENCYCLOPEDIA is arranged according to the 66 books of the Bible. In each book, all the verses on one prophetic theme are treated in one combined discussion. For example: The 12 verses of Genesis that foretell God’s granting of the land of Canaan to the descendants of Abraham are discussed together. It is then shown how the promise was fulfilled in the days of Joshua. One of the ENCYCLOPEDIA’S concluding summaries lists all the 737 major subjects that appear in Biblical prediction, with the books and paragraphs in which each is found. This way, each prophecy can be traced from its first appearance in the Bible to its last. Among the many features is a complete list of all the Scriptural prophecies pertaining to Christ. No other book has ever examined Biblical prophecy so thoroughly or presented it in such a balanced perspective as the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY. -1,817 entries covering all the Biblical predictions in both the Old and New Testaments -A complete discussion of all 8,352 predictive verses in the Bible -14 tables, including three on the Book of Revelation -Bibliography -4 summaries -4 statistical appendixes -5 complete indexes An indispensable tool for students of the Bible, for students in theological seminaries and Bible colleges, for pastors as a reference guide, and for concerned lay people. The ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY is certain to bring a fresh understanding and rewarding insights of the bible.

  • BIBLE IN ENGLISH

Original price was: $55.00.Current price is: $19.99.

A vibrant history of the myriad English translations of the Bible and what they meant to their translators, readers, and times

The greatest of the earlier translators of the Bible into English, William Tyndale, was martyred in 1536 for his work. Immediately after him, however, translations proliferated: the whole Bible, or significant parts, has now been translated into English from its original Greek and Hebrew more than three thousand times. This major new book tells the extraordinary story of the Bible in England from approximately the fourth century, and its later translation into English in Britain and America to the present day. Eminent scholar David Daniell charts the profound impact successive versions of the Bible have had on the people and communities that read them. He explains the work of major translators, the history of influential translations following Tyndale, including Coverdale’s, the Geneva Bibles and the King James Bible, and how greatly Americans have contributed in the late twentieth century, especially after the American Revised Standard Version. Encompassing centuries of change—from a time when no one except priests had knowledge of the Bible beyond a few traditional stories mixed with saints’ lives, through later years when ordinary people were steeped in Biblical doctrine and language, to the present, when popular knowledge of the Bible, we are told, has disappeared—this eloquent book reveals how the endeavor of translating the Bible into English has changed religious practice, the arts, society, and the English language itself.

  • WONDER OF HEAVEN

Original price was: $16.99.Current price is: $13.99.

Increasing economic and cultural instability is leading North Americans to wonder more and more about existence beyond death. Many sources–some trustworthy, some not–are offering opinion, conjecture, and comforting words.

Noted Bible teacher Ron Rhodes, bestselling author of Angels Among Us, goes to the Scriptures, God’s gift to help us live on earth in a way that prepares us for heaven. He tackles the important questions:

    • What is the moment-of-death transition actually like?
    • In what state will believers exist? Will they know loved ones?
    • What will God’s people do in eternity? What will it be like to live with God forever?

The Wonder of Heaven punctures the notion of a harp-strumming, do-nothing eternity. After glimpsing their home with God–and with people as God meant them to be–Christians will be filled with an anticipation that makes their lives brighter, stronger, and more effective today.

Includes some material from the book Heaven: The Undiscovered Country.

  • FREEDOM OF THE WILL

Original price was: $22.49.Current price is: $20.62.

“Considered Edwards’ finest work, the treatise is a monument of American philosophy,” noted Christian History magazine (Vol. 4, No. 4, p.19). They continue, “In this treatise Edwards painstakingly shows that man is indeed free… but that God is still sovereign and still solely responsible for man’s salvation. Edwards tries to show that a sinner and humans, in the Calvinist tradition, come into the world under the curse of Adam would never by himself choose to glorify God unless God himself changed that person’s character. Regeneration, God’s act, is the basis for repentance and conversion, the human actions.” A detailed, careful, and strongly Calvinistic look at this important question. Edwards (1703-1758) is by far the best known American theologian. After graduating from and teaching at Yale University, he began a very fruitful ministry at Northampton, MA. The church was the scene of the explosive revival of 1734, 35, and burned fiercely for God under Edwards for several years. Edwards then went to pastor the lowly Indians. But at last he was called to be the first president of Princeton University, where he served only 5 weeks, dying of smallpox.
